Yucca thompsoniana

Thompson’s yucca is a relatively fast-growing, short-trunked yucca native to the Pecos River region of west Texas. Durable, adaptable and cold hardy. The green leaves are narrow, long and sharp-tipped. They form a symmetrical round rosette of leaves about 3-4 ft. across. Often multi-headed. These yuccas are accommodating to different soil types and moisture levels, but good drainage is recommended. They flower like other yuccas with woody, branched stalks that stand 3-4 ft. above the foliage in spring to summer. (Differentiated from Y. rostrata that have softer, blue colored leaves) Plants shipped bare root.
