The Pothos Silvery Anne (Scindapsus pictus ‘Silvery Ann’) is a captivating houseplant celebrated for its striking silver-speckled leaves and low-maintenance nature. This cultivar is a member of the Araceae family and is native to the Solomon Islands.

Key Characteristics:

• Foliage: The heart-shaped leaves are a deep green adorned with silver markings, creating a shimmering effect that adds elegance to any space.

• Growth Habit: As a trailing vine, it can grow up to 10 feet long, making it suitable for hanging baskets or as a cascading accent in decorative containers.

Care Requirements:

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate lower light conditions, optimal growth and leaf coloration are achieved with ample indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight may scorch the leaves, so it’s best to place the plant in a location with filtered light.

• Soil: Prefers well-draining, fertile soil. A mix designed for houseplants or one amended with perlite works well.

• Watering: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it’s better to err on the side of underwatering.
