Description

Hoya clemensiorum is a distinctive climbing plant recognized for its elongated, deeply veined lanceolate leaves. These plants were acquired from a dutch grower and we believe them to be H.clemensiorum or similar species. We haven’t flowered them and so the ID is tentative

Native to: The species is native to Sabah, Malaysia, thriving in tropical forest environments.

Water: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings to prevent overwatering. During the growing season, water thoroughly when the top layer of the soil feels dry. In winter, reduce watering frequency to accommodate the plant’s slower growth rate.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Exposure to direct sunlight can cause leaf scorching, while insufficient light may hinder growth and flowering.

Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity levels, ideally between 60% and 70%. Regular misting or the use of a humidifier can help maintain appropriate moisture levels.

Temperature: Favours warm indoor temperatures between 23C and 24C. Protect the plant from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.
