18-20″ tall x 6″ wide. Gudoshnik Double Late Tulipgreets the late spring garden with large 4″ peony-like blossoms in warmshades of red, apricot, and yellow. No two blossoms are alike, yet all harmonizeinto a stunning display. Lovely as cut flowers, harvest them when still in budwith some color showing. Plant bulbs when you receive them in freely drainingsoil where they will get full sun. Gudoshnik’s flowers are heavy, so plant thema bit closer together (1-2″ apart) and in a protected location whereblossoms will be protected from extreme weather. Good in containers too. Plantat least 6-8″ deep and set the bulb with pointy end up. Add some organicfertilizer and water well to start root growth, then only as needed during falldry spells. The following year’s blossoms will likely be smaller, so manygardeners treat these tulips as annuals and replant each fall.
